At the recent World Congress of Families in Amsterdam, Sharon presented a copy of her book to a King from Ghana and he requested a second copy to give to the President of the International Criminal Court, who he was meeting with a few days later. Another person requested five copies for the Canadian Parliament. One young woman said she was captivated and stayed up much of the night reading. A couple who read the manuscript before the book went to print used the information in the marriage chapter in family home evening to help their teenagers overcome misconceptions about homosexuality and same-sex marriage and to help them understand that it is not hateful to protect marriage. The book is not a profit-making venture for Sharon or her family.
