In present work, I have shown the systematic studies of identifying new and effective drug targets against malaria parasite, Plasmodium. We utilized different strategy and disciplines starting from Bioinformatics, Biochemistry to Immunology and Structural Biology to unveil the hidden potential of very basic group of proteins, aminoacyl-tRNA synthetases (aaRSs). This group of proteins are very primitive and known to involve in protein synthesis machinery of cell. But, apart from doing there canonical function, these proteins are also involved in various other crucial pathways of cell.
