Dickins and Anthony Conybear. - A good example of the poems in the volume is the very first one, a 4-liner by Richardson, entitled "Poet": "He is the shining furrow of pain where the boat of joy has passed, / He is the suffering wandering rain, and the rainbow at last; / He is the earth's flowing red blood into rubies congealing; / He it is who has seen God, and is blind past healing." - The second poem, "The Vikings", by the Scottish poet Olive Fraser, won the Chancellor's Medal in the University of Cambridge, March, 1935. - The poem "Dirge for Summer", by Lawrence Clark, is signed in ink by Clark. - A sumptuous production, with an impressive front cover; text beautifully printed, and with large margins. - CONCHA MENDEZ (1898-1986,whose first boyfriend was, at age 19, Luis Bunuel - in an affair lasting 5 years) and MANUEL ALTOLAGUIRRE (1905-1959), Spanish poets, printers and publishers, were married in 1932. They printed and published, over the years, in Paris, London, and Madrid; and after the Spanish Civil War, again in Paris, and then in Havana and Mexico City.
